In order to survive and develop in the market competition, enterprises should keep up with the pace of the times and keep the technology updated. In recent years, with the rise of all electric injection molding machine, there are some new trends in mold technology. One of the most striking changes is the application of servo motor in mold.
In the production of traditional screw cap, the process of die opening, oil pressure action and reaming is generally experienced. After replacing the traditional oil pressure system with servo motor, the servo motor rotates synchronously in the process of die opening, and the reaming is completed at the same time of die opening, which greatly shortens the forming period. This point has the incomparable attraction to the screw cap manufacturer.
For another example, the traditional core pulling action is generally completed by mechanical slanting guide post, which is generally core pulling while opening the mold. But in some cases, people want to pull the core after opening the mold completely. This exposes the disadvantage that the traditional oil pressure system can't control the time. The introduction of servo motor can precisely control the time of core pulling action, thus bringing greater production flexibility for manufacturers.
At present, the application of servo motor in the mold industry is quite common in foreign countries, but the mold industry in China is very rare. For the whole mold manufacturing cost, the use of servo motor will not significantly increase the cost, but it can bring more efficient and flexible production mode for the SMS injection molding and BMC injection molding industry.
