The end cap mould adopts standard mould base. H13 steel and H13 steel are used for forming parts (insert, core) and sprue sleeve and other parts in contact with liquid metal. They have high tempering resistance, cold and hot fatigue resistance, and good nitriding process performance, which can effectively prevent mould sticking and cavity cracking. The blank of formed parts is forgings, and the manufacturing process is: forging ※ annealing ※ rough processing ※ stabilizing treatment ※ finishing forming ※ quenching and tempering (44-47hrc) ※ fitter repair and finishing ※ debugging ※ surface nitriding.
The end cap mould has the following design features:
(1) the use of step parting surface makes the die structure compact, which is conducive to die casting forming and subsequent processing.
(2) the gap gate is used to fill the mold, the filling and exhaust of the cavity is ideal, the internal quality and surface quality of the casting are good, and the processing part is free of porosity, shrinkage and porosity, which improves the product qualification rate.
(3)the method of oblique stop centering is adopted on the fixed mold insert and the moving mold insert to ensure that there is no dislocation when closing the mold, and it can also play the role of strengthening the mold cavity.
(4) due to the large forming area of the slider, the lateral expanding force must be calculated when selecting the die-casting machine, and the manufacturing accuracy and assembly accuracy requirements of the slider components shall be ensured during the processing.
Therefore, after the design and manufacture of the drive end cover precision casting die, through debugging and production verification, the quality of the die casting products meets the requirements, the product qualification rate is high. The end cap mould works stably and reliably, and they can fully meet the requirements of continuous production.
