1. Importance of SMC product quality
The molding quality of SMC products depends on factors such as press equipment, molds, technical parameters, and staff quality. The excellent and stable quality of SMC products not only comes from the strict control of manufacturing skills and production management methods, but more importantly, it has good accumulation in all aspects of production.
2. How to improve the quality of SMC products?
First of all, in the press equipment, SMC products are very strict with regard to press requirements. The pressure required to be applied to the product during SMC molding is 50-100 kg/cm². Therefore, the smaller the product area, the lower the pressure, and the larger the area of SMC products, such as waterproof trays, wall panels, bathtubs, top panels, etc., require more pressure presses. Therefore, SMC mould manufacturer needs to have a single press. The higher the pressure value, the larger the product can be made. On the contrary, it is impossible to supply perfect products.
Secondly, the molding process of SMC products requires precision in all aspects of the production process, including the horizontal positioning of the press, the up and down movement speed of the press slide, and the accuracy of the mold. During production, the pressure and temperature of each area in the mold, and even the pressure of opening and closing the mold in an instant, must be even and accurate. This requires SMC component presses and molds to have high accuracy, far exceeding other operations. The quantity planning and accuracy of presses and molds are key equipment for an overall company to ensure product quality and enrich product categories.
